Learn to make Cyanotypes at Apothecary Studios on Saturday, September 25th! By the end of this 5 hour class, you will have a great understanding of this 19th Century Photographic technique; including how to mix your own chemistry, coat a variety of papers, compose in a contact print frame, expose prints in sunlight, and develop and oxidize your print. Bring any special dried or fresh botanicals, or any two dimensional objects (such as lace, keys, stencils, etc.) you’d like to use. I will have plenty to share! The price includes your material fee, and allows you to take home your frame, clips, and brush. Note: I need 4 students to run this class, and space is limited to 10 students. Rain date is scheduled for Saturday, September 26th.
